Visible-Light-Driven Germyl Radical Generation via EDA-Catalyzed ET-HAT Process.

We have established a facile and efficient protocol for the generation of germyl radicals by employing photo-excited electron transfer (ET) in an electron donor-acceptor (EDA) complex to drive hydrogen-atom transfer (HAT) from germyl hydride (RGeH). Using a catalytic amount of EDA complex of commercially available thiol and benzophenone derivatives, the ET-HAT cycle smoothly proceeds simply upon blue-light irradiation without any transition metal or photocatalyst. This protocol also affords silyl radical from silyl hydride.

A method was found to construct sulfur-containing five- and six-membered heterocyclic alkyl sulfonyl compounds by using visible light and free radicals activated and/or generated by EDA complexes/homolytic cleavage as initiators to stimulate the relay reaction of alkynes/alkynones. This method puts forward a new strategy to initiate alkyl sulfonation of alkynes/alkynones with only a catalytic amount of the initiator. This strategy of generating the initiator by EDA complex activation/homolytic cleavage provides a new idea for the following substances that must be excited.

The article examines the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of traditional Tibetan "Bengke" residential architecture in Luhuo County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. The study utilizes spatial statistical methods, including Average Nearest Neighbor Analysis, Getis-Ord Gi*, and Kernel Density Estimation, to identify significant clustering patterns of Bengke architecture. Spatial autocorrelation was tested using Moran's Index, with results indicating no significant spatial autocorrelation, suggesting that the distribution mechanisms are complex and influenced by multiple factors.

Recognized as a transdiagnostic factor, emotion regulation (ER) is increasingly embedded into conceptualizations of psychopathology development and maintenance, emerging as a core component of treatment methodologies. Therefore, the incorporation of ER into various facets of affective sciences, including theoretical frameworks, experimental paradigms, assessment methods, and intervention strategies, raises new challenges, particularly regarding the measurement of ER. In the evaluation and understanding of complex, multifaceted processes like ER, the combination of different assessment methods encompassing diverse units of analysis across multiple domains encompassing cerebral, physiological, and behavioral measures can prove particularly interesting.

The study is dedicated to the synthesis, rheological properties, hemocompatibility, and further modification of water-soluble derivatives of sodium alginate containing fragments of ethylenediamine (Alg-EDA). Alg-EDA with an equal ratio of amide/amine groups and varying degrees of substitution were synthesized by the carbodiimide method. The influence of the molecular weight of Alg-EDA on the attachment of bioactive molecules such as hydroxybenzoic and ferulic acids was determined.
