This study aimed to determine the incidence of traumatic dental injuries (TDIs) during oral tracheal intubation by traditional laryngoscopy in general anesthesia (GA) in pediatric patients aged 4-13 and the correlated risk factors in Damascus, Syria. The study included children at the Department of General Surgery, Damascus University. Each child was examined before, during, and after 12-24 h of entering the operation room.

Aim: In this study, it was aimed to determine the changes in the anatomic structures of individuals with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) classified according to the apnea-hypopnea index (AHI).
Materials And Methods: Individuals were divided into groups as group 1 (AHI=0, n=20), group 2 (AHI ˂5, n=20), group 3 (AHI=5-15, n=20), group 4 (AHI=16-30, n=20), group 5 (AHI ˃30, n=20). The individuals left lateral cervical vertebra radiographs were taken.

The authors present two cases of mouth floor hemorrhage consequences of implant placement within the atrophic anterior mandible. In one patient, the implant placement was associated with the guided bone regeneration (GBR) technique. This serious complication has been widely described in the literature, especially in the anterior mandible area.

Purpose: To evaluate treatment outcomes and toxicity in patients with stage T1-3N0M0 oral cancer treated with surgery followed by high-dose-rate brachytherapy (HDR-BT).
