The transition to parenthood is a transformative journey marked by numerous adjustments, presenting both physical and mental health challenges. Recognising the crucial role of a sense of belonging for parental health in this transition, this study delves into the experiences of new parents, exploring the act of "journeying" within their local geographies. Through analysis of an online survey among new parents in suburban Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand, this study highlights the multifaceted role of journeying, not only as physical movement but as a slow-creeping transformative process that affects connections with local environments, people, and places, highlighting the importance of local geographies in new parents' journey towards belonging.

Background: Chronic neuropathic pain is a major health problem that adversely affects people's physical and mental well-being, as well as their quality of life. Percutaneous peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS) may offer a minimally invasive option earlier in the treatment continuum for adults with chronic neuropathic pain that is refractory to conventional medical management. We conducted a health technology assessment of PNS for adults with chronic neuropathic pain, which included an evaluation of effectiveness, safety, cost-effectiveness, the budget impact of publicly funding PNS, and patient preferences and values.

Amid global challenges like climate change, extinctions, and disease epidemics, science and society require nuanced, international solutions that are grounded in robust, interdisciplinary perspectives and datasets that span deep time. Natural history collections, from modern biological specimens to the archaeological and fossil records, are crucial tools for understanding cultural and biological processes that shape our modern world. At the same time, natural history collections in low and middle-income countries are at-risk and underresourced, imperiling efforts to build the infrastructure and scientific capacity necessary to tackle critical challenges.

The border line between Bulgaria and Romania was established a century ago on the Danube River's thalweg, going around islands. Over time, islands migrated; to avoid conflicts, islands located on the border line are declared neutral territory by both countries and they exit from use. In this context, the paper aims to draw conclusions on the spatial dynamics of the Danube River's sandy islands along the Bulgaria-Romania border.

Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding mountains (TPSM) have experienced prominent glacier retreat since the Global Last Glacial Maximum, while the detailed deglaciation process remains unclear. To investigate the spatiotemporal pattern of the glacier retreat history, we compiled 196 moraines dating from 26.5 to 10 ka based on 994 boulder Be exposure age from seven regions on the TPSM and calculated the separated component Gaussians of moraine ages.
