Controlled aggregation is of great significance in designing nanodevices with high electrochemical performance. In this study, an aggregation strategy with cyclodextrin polymer (CDP) was employed to prepare polyaniline (PANI)/MXene (MX) composites. MXene served as a two-dimensional structure template. Due to supramolecular interactions, CDP could be controllably modified with PANI layers, effectively preventing the self-polymerization of PANI. As a result, this integration facilitated a more uniform growth of PANI on MXene and further improved the capacitance performance of CDP-MX/PA. In a three-electrode system, the specific capacitance of MX/PA at 1 A g was 460.8 F g, which increased to 523.8 F g after CDP-induced growth. CDP-MX/PA exhibited a high energy density of 27.7 W h kg at a power density of 700 W kg. This suggests that the synthetic strategy employed in this study holds promise in providing robust support for the preparation of high-performance energy-storage device.

Objective: To explore the possible mechanism of absorption of iron oxide nanoparticles into the human body through the gastrointestinal tract.
Methods: This article used Caco-2 monolayer cells as a cell model, prepared characterized iron oxide nanoparticles(Fe_2O_3 NPs) as suspensions, and intervened in Caco-2 cells. CCK-8 method, transwell method, and atomic spectrophotometer method were used to explore the effect of Fe_2O_3 NPs on the activity of Caco-2 cells and the absorption and transport of them through the Caco-2 monolayer cell model.

The objective of this study was to solve instability and low bioavailability of tea polyphenols (TPs), and to explore the application of gluten protein as microcapsule wall material. Modified gluten protein (MEG), β-cyclodextrin (β-CD), xanthan gum (XG) or acacia gum (GA) were used as composite wall materials to encapsulate TPs by double-emulsion technique, and the physicochemical and structural properties of the products were characterized. The results show that the composite wall material effectively encapsulated and enhanced the stability of TPs.

To extend the short half-life of fluorouracil (Fu), enhance its tumor targeting, improve efficacy, and reduce side effects, providing a new approach for colorectal cancer treatment. Fluorouracil was hydroxylated and conjugated with methotrexate to form a 5-fluorouracil-methotrexate conjugate (MF). This was complexed with sulfobutyl ether-β-cyclodextrin (MF-SEBCD) using a stirring method to create an injectable formulation.

Phloretin (PHT) is a natural functional compound with antioxidant properties. However, its poor water solubility and high sensitivity to extreme pH environments, oxygen, and high temperatures limit its absorption and stability. Therefore, in this study, amorphous octenyl succinic anhydride starch (AOS) was employed to enhance the stability of PHT-loaded emulsions, and characteristics of these emulsions were evaluated.

The joint use of deep eutectic solvents (DESs) and cyclodextrins (CDs) has been well demonstrated to have a promoting effect on chiral separation in capillary electrophoresis (CE). These studies focused on constructing synergistic separation systems by adding DESs and CDs to the buffer solution respectively. In this work, for the first time, β-cyclodextrin (β-CD), methyl-β-cyclodextrin (M-β-CD), and hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD) were directly used as precursors to prepare several CDs-based deep eutectic supramolecules (DESUPs) by assembling with two organic acids (L-lactic acid and L-malic acid) in different ratios through a simple two-phase mixing.
