The prognostic implications of intravascular volume status assessed by blood volume analysis (BVA) in ambulatory heart failure (HF) remain uncertain. The incremental benefits of assessing volume status, beyond the well-established filling pressures, in predicting HF outcomes are unknown.

Objective: To assess the association between prostate-specific antigen (PSA) density (PSAD) and prostate cancer mortality after a benign result on systematic transrectal ultrasonography (TRUS)-guided prostate biopsy.
Patients And Methods: This retrospective study used data from the Finnish Randomised Study of Screening for Prostate Cancer (FinRSPC) collected between 1996 and 2020. We identified men aged 55-71 years randomised to the screening arm with PSA ≥4.

Objective: To explore the current research status and trends of potassium-competitive acid blockers (P-CABs) in the treatment of acid related diseases (ARDs) using bibliometric analysis.
Materials And Methods: We collected publications related to P-CAB in the treatment of acid-related diseases in the Web of Science (WOS) Core Collection from the establishment of the database to 30 June 2024. We evaluated the publication volume and citation status over the years using the WOS platform, and visualized the authors, countries, institutions, keywords, and citations of the publications using CiteSpace and VOSviewer.

Patients with pulmonary embolus (PE) can be stratified into low, intermediate, and high risk based on such factors as hemodynamics and the status of the right ventricle. Low risk patients who meet appropriate criteria can potentially be discharged home with oral anticoagulation, avoiding unnecessary hospitalization and associated complications and costs. However, limited data suggest early discharge of low-risk patients has not gained widespread traction.

Background: The European hake () is a commercially valuable demersal species widely distributed in the Mediterranean Sea. Assessing the condition of fish populations in their natural habitats is challenging due to the lack of reliable reference points.
Objective: This study aimed to utilize hematological analysis as an economical method to evaluate the physiological and health status of European hake, addressing the gap in hematological data for this species.

Background: The pattern of myocardial injury and dysfunction development during follow-up is unclear in patients with myocarditis. This study aims to explore the developmental pattern of myocardial injury and cardiac dysfunction during the follow-up of myocarditis by cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) and differences in short-term follow-up CMR performance between patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)-associated myocarditis (CAM) and non-COVID-19-associated myocarditis (NCAM).
Methods: Data of patients with clinically diagnosed myocarditis who underwent follow-up CMR were retrospectively collected.
