and are closely related genera in the family Lysobacteraceae. In our previous study of aroid-associated bacterial strains, most strains isolated from anthurium and other aroids were reclassified as and other species. However, two strains isolated from and were phylogenetically distant from other strains in the clade and two strains isolated from clustered within the clade. Phylogenetic trees based on 16S rRNA and nine housekeeping genes placed the former strains with the type strain of from sugarcane and the latter strains with the type strain of from bentonite. In pairwise comparisons with type strains, the overall genomic relatedness indices required delineation of new species; digital DNA-DNA hybridization and average nucleotide identity values were lower than 70 and 95%, respectively. Hence, three new species are proposed: sp. nov. and sp. nov. for two strains from anthurium and sp. nov. for the strains from spathiphyllum and colocasia, respectively. The genome size of sp. nov. is ~4.88 Mbp and higher than sp. nov. (4.33 Mbp) and sp. nov. (4.68 Mbp). Gene content analysis revealed 425 and 576 core genes present in 40 xanthomonads and 25 stenotrophomonads, respectively. The average number of unique genes in spp. was higher than in spp., implying higher genetic diversity in .

A New '-morphotype' Species of Tube-Nosed Bat (Chiroptera: Vespertilionidae: ) from China.

During an examination of various specimens previously collected from different locations at different times, we discovered four specimens that had been collected in October and December 2023 from the Huanglianshan National Nature Reserve, Lvchun, Yunnan, China. Morphologically, these specimens can be distinguished from and other congeneric species based on a combination of body size, hair distribution, fur colour, and skull and teeth characteristics; molecularly, an analysis of Cyt and COI gene sequences showed that these specimens form a monophyletic group with with high posterior probability and bootstrap support values. Furthermore, the genetic distance between our specimens and was greater than the minimum threshold for interspecific differentiation, indicating that they are phylogenetically close but have diverged.
