Background: Bone fractures represent a global public health issue. Over the past few decades, a sustained increase in the number of incidents and prevalent cases have been reported, as well as in the years lived with disability. Current monitoring techniques predominantly rely on imaging methods, which can result in subjective assessments, and expose patients to unnecessary cumulative doses of radiation.

Background: Loneliness is a public health concern associated with increased morbidity and mortality. Adverse health behaviours and a higher body mass index (BMI) have been proposed as key mechanisms influencing this association. The present study aims to examine the relationship between loneliness, adverse health behaviour and a higher BMI, including daily smoking, high alcohol consumption, physical inactivity, unhealthy dietary habits, and obesity in men and women and across different life stages.

Background: Child mortality is a reliable and significant indicator of a nation's health. Although the child mortality rate in Bangladesh is declining over time, it still needs to drop even more in order to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Machine Learning models are one of the best tools for making more accurate and efficient forecasts and gaining in-depth knowledge.

Background: In recent years, employing deep learning methods in the biosensing area has significantly reduced data analysis time and enhanced data interpretation and prediction accuracy. In some SPR fields, research teams have further enhanced detection capabilities using deep learning techniques. However, the application of deep learning to spectroscopic surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensors has not been reported.

Background: Older adult care homes in England are required to develop care plans on behalf of each of their residents and to make these documents available to those who provide care. However, there is a lack of formal agreement around the key principles that should inform the development of care plans in care homes for older adults. Using a modified Delphi survey, we intend to generate consensus on a set of key principles that should inform the care planning process.
