In the context of colorectal cancer, splenic and ovarian metastases are rare outside of widely disseminated disease. Growing evidence suggests that 'oligometastatic' or limited metastatic disease can be treated surgically with good oncological outcomes. Splenic and ovarian metastases are not well represented in studies of oligometastatic colorectal cancer, resulting in uncertainty in the best management for these patients. We present the case of a 78-year-old woman diagnosed with oligometastatic colorectal cancer to bilateral ovaries and spleen, 5 years after resection of a primary colon cancer. The patient was treated with a bilateral salpingo-oopherectomy and subsequent open splenectomy. We discuss the role of surgery and peri-operative chemotherapy in the management of oligometastatic colorectal cancer involving atypical sites.

Purpose: This study reports on the clinical outcomes of the single arm phase-II STEAL trial investigating online adaptive stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for abdominal-pelvic lymph node (A-P LN) oligometastases.
Methods: Patients with oligometastatic A-P LN were enrolled and treated to a total dose of 45 Gy in five fractions on the CyberKnife. For each patient, a library of three plans was created using a pre-treatment diagnostic CT scan and the treatment planning CT scan.

Introduction: Synchronous liver metastases occur in approximately 15-20% of patients with colorectal cancer. Optimal oncological treatment of oligometastatic disease combines surgical resection and systemic therapy. Open simultaneous resection of the primary and liver metastases is well described, but there is not much evidence for the increasing use of the minimally invasive approach.

Breast cancer (BC) in females is the most diagnosed cancer and the leading cause of cancer death in women worldwide, followed by lung, colorectal, and cervical cancers. For oligo-metastatic (OM) cancers, the best definition is a maximum of five metastatic foci, not necessarily located in the same organ or anatomic region, all potentially treatable by ablative local treatment: either surgical resection or radiation when accessible. Oligo-metastatic breast cancer (OM-BC) is currently arising as an emerging entity with more focused research needed to upgrade the guidelines for best management.

Isolated vaginal metastasis from colorectal cancer is a rare entity with very few reports in the literature. Here we report a patient who presented with bleeding per vagina from a vaginal mucosal lesion. Biopsy of the vaginal lesion indicated a metastatic adenocarcinoma from a colorectal primary.
