An undescribed dihydrostilbene, macajavanicin D (), and three known analogs, malayheyneiin A () and laevifolins A-B (-), were isolated from (Blume) Müll. Arg. leaves. Macajavanicin D () structure was determined based on a combination of ESI-HRMS data and NMR spectra. Compounds were evaluated to strain 3D7. Macajavanicins D () and laevifolin A () showed potent activity with an IC value of 0.85 and 1.03 µg/mL, respectively.
