The addition of sp-carbon-containing molecules to polycyclic sp tetrahedrane (-CH) results in the formation of both -benzyne (-CH) and benzene (-CH). Since both -CH and -CH have been detected in the interstellar medium (ISM), providing additional pathways for their possible astrochemical formation mechanisms can lead to the discovery of other molecules, such as -CH, benzvalyne, and vinylidene (:CCH). Addition of diatomic carbon (C), the ethynyl radical (CH), vinylidene, and acetylene (HCCH) to -CH is undertaken in individual pathways through high-level quantum chemical computations at the CCSD(T)-F12b/cc-pVTZ-F12 level of theory. The resulting C addition pathway proceeds barrierlessly through benzvalyne as an intermediate and reaches a true minimum at -CH, but no leaving groups are produced which is required to dissipate excess energy within an interstellar chemical scheme. Similarly, the CH addition to -CH produces benzvalyne as well as its related isomers. This pathway allows for the loss of a hydrogen leaving group to dissipate the resulting energy. Lastly, the HCCH and :CCH addition pathways follow through both benzvalene and benzvalyne in order to reach -CH (benzene) and -CH (-benzyne) as well as H as the required leaving group. Although there is a barrier to the HCCH addition, the :CCH addition presents the contrary with only submerged barriers. These proposed mechanisms provide alternative possibilities for the formation of complex organic molecules in space.

Introduction And Objective: Observable autonomous rhythmic changes in intravesical pressure, termed bladder wall micromotion, is a phenomenon that has been linked to urinary urgency, the key symptom in overactive bladder (OAB). However, the mechanism through which micromotion drives urinary urgency is poorly understood. In addition, micromotion is inherently difficult to study in human urodynamics due to challenges distinguishing it from normal cyclic physiologic processes such as pulse rate, breathing, rectal contractions, and ureteral jetting.

We report nonadiabatic dynamics computations on CH initiated on a coherent superposition of the five lowest cationic states, employing the Quantum Ehrenfest method. In addition to the totally symmetric carbon-carbon double bond stretch and carbon-hydrogen stretches, we see that the three non-totally symmetric modes become stimulated; torsion and three different CH stretching patterns. Thus, a coherent superposition of states, of the type involved in an attochemistry experiment, leads to the stimulation of specific non-totally symmetric motions.

Objective: Ichthyosis are complex skin diseases, characterized by hyperkeratosis with various degrees of thickening, desquamation, and erythema. The prenatal diagnosis of ichthyosis is challenged due to the clinical and genetic heterogeneity and the late-onset of fetal features on ultrasound scan. Here, we reported two fetuses with Harlequin ichthyosis (HI), a severe subtype of autosomal recessive congenital ichthyosis (ARCI), who were diagnosed prenatally by images and genetic investigations.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: In Moroccan traditional medicine, plants from the Apiaceae family are widely utilized in folk medicine to treat various diseases associated with the digestive system. plays an important role as an antispasmodic that has been traditionally used, especially to treat digestive tract diseases in children.
Aim Of The Study: The aim of this research was to verify the traditional use by assessing the relaxant and spasmolytic activities of essential oil (ALEO) and then comparing them to the effects and potency of the major constituent of ALEO, which is perillaldehyde.
