Heavy metal ions are considered to be the most prevalent and toxic water contaminants. The objective of thois work was to investigate the effectiveness of employing the adsorption technique in a laboratory-size reactor to remove copper (II) ions from an aqueous medium. An adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) and a feed-forward artificial neural network (ANN) were used in this study. Four operational factors were chosen to examine their influence on the adsorption study: pH, contact duration, initial Cu (II) ions concentration, and adsorbent dosage. Using sawdust from wood, prediction models of copper (II) ions adsorption were optimized, created, and developed using the ANN and ANFIS models for tests. The result indicates that the determination coefficient for copper (II) metal ions in the training dataset was 0.987. Additionally, the ANFIS model's value for both pollutants was 0.992. The findings demonstrate that the models presented a promising predictive approach that can be applied to successfully and accurately anticipate the simultaneous elimination of copper (II) and dye from the aqueous solution.

Heavy metal ions are acknowledged to impact the environment and human health adversely. CNCs are effective materials for removing heavy metal ions in industrial applications and process innovations since they can be used in static and dynamic adsorption processes. Cost-effective, uncomplicated water treatment technologies must be developed using biodegradable polymers, namely, modified cellulose nanocrystals.

Smart water injection (SWI) is a practical enhanced oil recovery (EOR) technique that improves displacement efficiency on micro and macro scales by different physiochemical mechanisms. However, the development of a reliable smart tool to predict oil recovery factors is necessary to reduce the challenges related to experimental procedures. These challenges include the cost and complexity of experimental equipment and time-consuming experimental methods for obtaining the recovery factor (RF).

The increasing concern about global warming and the depletion of fossil fuel reserves has led to a growing interest in alternative energy sources, particularly fuel cells (FCs). These green energy sources convert chemical energy into electrical energy, offering advantages such as quick initiation, high power density, and efficient operation at low temperatures. However, the performance of FCs is influenced by changes in operating temperature, and optimal efficiency is achieved by operating them at their maximum power point (MPP).

The world is moving towards the utilization of hydrogen vehicle technology because its advantages are uniformity in power production, more efficiency, and high durability when compared to fossil fuels. So, in this work, the Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Stack (PEMFS) device is selected for producing the energy for the hydrogen vehicle. The merits of this fuel technology are the possibility of operating less source temperature, and more suitability for stationery and transportation applications.
