Introduction: The most frequent location of thrombosis development in acute mesenteric venous thrombosis is the superior mesenteric vein. It is an uncommon but potentially fatal condition. Patients with underlying medical conditions that interfere with the Virchow Triad hypercoagulability, stasis, and endothelial injury are more likely to experience it.

Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) is a key aspect of the physiology and pathogenesis of various cancer types. Overexpression of this enzyme is responsible for the elevated prostaglandin production and characteristic feature of breast cancer. Inhibition of COX-2 derived prostanoids facilitates anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects of non-steroid anti-inflammation drugs.

The ovary undergoes cycles of hormone production that regulate physiological changes necessary for folliculogenesis, ovulation and luteinisation, ultimately contributing to female reproductive success. Crucial to these biological processes is stage-specific nuclear receptor signalling. While the transcriptional regulatory roles of steroid receptors in female fertility and especially ovarian functions have long been documented, non-steroid receptors also play an important part in regulating gene expression at various stages of ovarian development.

In this study, six new 1,4-disubstituted bis-1,2,3-triazole compounds, N,N'-(1,2-phenylene)bis(2-(4-R-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)acetamide), were synthesized with high yield (88-96 %) by using click chemistry and their molecular structures were characterized by using NMR, FT-IR, HRMS and elemental analysis techniques. Previous studies suggest anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities for different 1,2,3-triazole derivatives and in the light of those studies we aimed to examine these novel derivatives immunomodulatory activities on the mammalian macrophages. Pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF, IL6, GMCSF and IL12p40) secretion levels were tested in the presence of bis-1,2,3-triazole compounds when the macrophages were activated with LPS.

Objective: The aim was to carry out the in vitro and in vivo safety and efficacy evaluation of human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stromal cell-conditioned media (MSC-CM) for hair regeneration.
Methods: Various in vitro parameters were used to estimate the consistency across various batches of MSC-CM.
