Infertility can have adverse effects on sexuality of women. This study aims to examine the effect of sexual counseling based on the BETTER Model on the sexual function of Iranian women with infertility. Eighty women with infertility were randomly assigned to either intervention or control groups. Female Sexual Function Index and Enrich Marital Satisfaction Scale were completed by participants at baseline and two months after. All domains of FSFI (except for pain) were significantly increased ( < 0.001) after the intervention. Results showed that two sessions of sexual counseling can be used to improve the sexual health of infertile women.

The evolutionary paths taken by each sex within a given species sometimes diverge, resulting in behavioral differences. Given their distinct needs, the mechanism by which each sex learns from a shared experience is still an open question. Here, we reveal sexual dimorphism in learning: C.

Physiology education is at the core of biomedical science and medicine. Physiology unites multiple disciplines to explain the mechanisms whereby a risk factor is associated with disease. Race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender identity are associated with risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD).

The liver is a sexually dimorphic organ. Sex differences in prevalence, progression, prognosis and treatment do prevail in most liver diseases, and the mechanism of how liver diseases act differently among male versus female patients have not been fully elucidated. Biological sex differences in normal physiology and disease arise principally from sex hormones and/or sex chromosomes.

Butterfly wing patterns exhibit notable differences between the dorsal and ventral surfaces, and morphological analyses of them have provided insights into the ecological and behavioural characteristics of wing patterns. Conventional methods for dorsoventral comparisons are constrained by the need for homologous patches or shared features between two surfaces, limiting their applicability across species. We used a convolutional neural network (CNN)-based analysis, which can compare images of the two surfaces without focusing on homologous patches or features, to detect dorsoventral bias in two types of intraspecific variation: sexual dimorphism and mimetic polymorphism.
