This study was planned to investigate the relationship between the genital self-image of primiparae and their sexual quality of life in the postpartum period in heterosexual couples. In this cross-sectional and correlational study, the data were collected through face-to-face interviews in the eastern part of Turkey. The results demonstrated that the relationship between the genital self-image and sexual quality of life of the participants who were sexually active after birth was moderate ( = 0.52, <.001). Both the genital self-image and sexual quality of life of the participating women were affected by the romantic relationship between them and their partners after birth ( <.01). Healthcare professionals should encourage and support couples to look over their relationship and problems they experience in their romantic relationship after birth.

: Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs) have demonstrated significant efficacy in obesity treatment beyond their original development for type-2 diabetes management. This comprehensive study investigated the relationship between GLP-1RA use and cancer incidence in individuals with obesity across a 5-year follow-up period. : We conducted a large-scale cohort study using the TriNetX US Collaborative Network database (2013-2023) examining adult patients with obesity.

Background: Little is known about the efficacy of preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP) or what biologic factors may influence HIV transmission in transgender men (TGM). In this study, we sought to explore the effect of testosterone on the vaginal microbiome, cervicovaginal fluid (CVF) tenofovir concentrations, and levels of CVF inflammatory markers in TGM on PrEP.
Methods: Cervicovaginal fluid was collected from 13 TGM (7 using testosterone) and 32 cisgender women (CGW) on PrEP.

The VACTERL (vertebral defects, anal atresia, cardiac defects, tracheoesophageal fistula, renal anomalies, and limb abnormalities) association represents an enigmatic syndrome requiring further study. This report describes a full-term neonate born to a multiparous woman who was found, upon further examination, to have multiple congenital abnormalities, including a bicuspid aortic valve, patent foramen ovale, tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF), asymmetric crying facies, microphallus, and a single inguinal testis. The discussion explores environmental and genetic factors that may contribute to this association, as well as similar conditions, such as CHARGE (coloboma, heart defects, choanal atresia, growth retardation, genital abnormalities, and ear abnormalities) syndrome.
