Rehabilitation of gait function in post-stroke hemiplegic patients is critical for improving mobility and quality of life, requiring a comprehensive understanding of individual gait patterns. Previous studies on gait analysis using unsupervised clustering often involve manual feature extraction, which introduces limitations such as low accuracy, low consistency, and potential bias due to human intervention. This cross-sectional study aimed to identify and cluster gait patterns using an end-to-end deep learning approach that autonomously extracts features from joint angle trajectories for a gait cycle, minimizing human intervention.

Pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS) is rare in the shoulder, with few descriptions in the literature. We present the case of a 58-year-old female patient with no history of trauma. The patient reported pain for 2 months with no limb irradiation and presented lifting strength loss and progressive limitation of active and passive mobility.

Guide dogs play a crucial role in enhancing independence and mobility for people with visual impairment, offering invaluable assistance in navigating daily tasks and environments. However, the extensive training required for these dogs is costly, resulting in a limited availability that does not meet the high demand for such skilled working animals. Towards optimizing the training process and to better understand the challenges these guide dogs may be experiencing in the field, we have created a multi-sensor smart collar system.

Background: Exercise is a key component of axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) management. As telerehabilitation has become a viable solution for delivering remote care, the effectiveness of core stability exercises via this method remains under-researched.
Aim: To compare the effects of telerehabilitation-based synchronous versus asynchronous core stability exercises on core muscle endurance, spinal mobility, disease activity, physical function, and quality of life in patients with axSpA.
