Today, the wide utilization of triazole fungicides due to environmental damage and its side effects has raised global concern. Thus, in this investigation, polyacrylonitrile/MnCo-layered double hydroxides nanofiber was synthesized and applied as an effective and novel adsorbent at thin-film solid-phase micro-extraction technique for the quick and concurrent extraction of five triazole fungicides in fruit and vegetable samples before quantitative analysis by high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet. The incorporation of MnCo-layered double hydroxides with porous structure and abundant functional groups in a polymer medium improves the extraction efficiency of nanofibers owing to hydrogen bonding and π-π interactions formed between analytes and synthesized nano-adsorbent. Various important elements that affect the extraction efficiency of the intended analytes were optimized using a time-variable approach. Under the optimum conditions, the limit of detection and quantification range from 0.1 to 0.15 and 0.3-0.5 ng mL, respectively.

Under the widespread use backgrounds of fungicides in paddy-dominated basin, the neglect of fungicide environmental fates may aggravate their pollution risks. By integrating field detection with model simulation, we quantified the loss loads and explored the environmental fates of one thiophosphate and five triazole fungicides. Based on the experimental results, we simulated fungicide loss loads with the coefficient of determination of the verification results greater than 0.

Propiconazole is a triazole fungicide previously shown to induce triglyceride accumulation in human liver HepaRG cells, potentially via activation of the Pregnane X Receptor (PXR). However, whether propiconazole can disrupt hepatic and whole-body metabolism in vivo is currently unknown. Therefore, we aimed to examine the metabolic effects of propiconazole in the context of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), obesity, and insulin resistance.

Ipconazole (IPC) is a chiral triazole fungicide and commonly used for disease control in seeds. This study investigated the bioactivity and potential mechanism of ipconazole against pathogenic microorganisms at the chiral perspective. It explored the accumulation behavior of ipconazole enantiomers within the soil-earthworm system and evaluated its toxic effects on earthworms.

Propiconazole (PRO) is a chiral triazole fungicide that has been widely used for several years. However, its metabolic characteristics and hepatotoxicity in the chiral level environment remain unclear. In this study, the stereoselective behavior of PRO was investigated by using liver microsome incubation, cell viability assay, inhalation exposure, and molecular docking.
