Background And Objective: Given the uncertainty regarding the role of radical nephroureterectomy (RNU) as part of a multimodal treatment strategy for upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) patients with cN+ disease, we aimed to perform a systematic review and meta-analysis of the corresponding literature.
Methods: Using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses guidelines, we identified 17 observational comparative and noncomparative studies, published between January 2000 and September 2024, evaluating UTUC patients with cTanyN+M0 disease (P) who received RNU as part of a multimodal treatment strategy (I), as compared with any treatment strategy if applicable (C), to assess oncological or postoperative outcomes (O). Meta-analyses were further performed, as appropriate.

The aim was to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of sentinel lymph node (SLN) mapping in comparison to routine pelvic lymphadenectomy for lymph node assessment in patients with high-risk endometrial cancer (EC). A decision-analytic model was developed to compare SLN mapping with pelvic lymphadenectomy for guiding adjuvant therapy in patients with high-risk endometrioid and non-endometrioid EC, focusing on costs and health outcomes. The input data were obtained from systematic literature searches and expert consensus.

Background: The prophylactic vaccines available to protect against infections by human papillomavirus (HPV) are well tolerated and highly immunogenic. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to explore the efficacy of HPV vaccination on the risk of HPV infection and recurrent diseases related to HPV infection in individuals undergoing local surgical treatment.
Methods: A literature search was performed using PubMed/MEDLINE, Embase, the Cochrane Library, Scopus, Web of Science, and bioRxiv/medRxiv from inception to July 15, 2024.

BACKGROUND Perivascular epitheloid cell neoplasm (PEComa) is a rare mesenchymal tumor that is evaluated in the same tumor family as angiomyolipoma, sugar cell tumor of the lung, and lymphangioleiomyomatosis. Immunohistochemically, the disease can express melanocytic and myogenic markers, such as HMB45, HMSA1, MelanA/Mart1, and actin. The disease can be seen in almost every organ, especially the uterus and retroperitoneum.
