The sensing modified electrode was prepared using glucose oxidase immobilized onto vanadium pentoxide xerogel with glass/FTO as support electrode to evaluate the possibility to construct a VO/GOx Extended Gate Field Effect Transistor biosensor. Previously, our studies exhibited a sensitivity of VO of 58.1 mV/pH. The use of Nafion® onto VO/GOx caused a decrease of mass loss after several cycles compared to the modified electrode without Nafion® during the EQCM and cyclic voltammetrics studies. Electrical characterization of VO/GOx demonstrated a tendency to stability after 200 s as a function of applied current. In presence of glucose and in different pH, the current decreased when the glucose concentration increased due to the lower active sites of enzyme. After ten voltammetric cycles, the total charge tends to structural stability. In pH = 5.0, the modified electrode based on VO/GOx Extended Gate Field Effect Transistor presented more tendency to sensitivity in different concentration of glucose.

Residual antibiotics in the environment may pose threats to both ecological system and public health, necessitating the development of efficient analytical strategy for monitoring and control. This study proposes a photoelectrochemical extended-gate field-effect transistor (PEGFET) sensor for specific and sensitive detection of kanamycin. The sensor utilizes ITO glass as the extended gate electrode (photoelectrode) and titanium dioxide as the photosensitive material.

The increasing demand for non-invasive and non-enzymatic glucose sensors is driven by the objective of eliminating the need for blood pricks from the body and enabling enzyme-free detection of glucose for diagnosing diabetes mellitus. To address this need, we synthesized Ni MOF-MXene (Ni) hybrid material through a one-pot synthesis method, which acts as a catalyst to detect salivary glucose using an extended gate field effect transistor (EGFET) method. The resulting sensor exhibits good selectivity towards glucose over common interfering molecules such as sucrose, fructose, maltose, uric acid, and ascorbic acid under physiological conditions in saliva.

This work investigates the detection of defunct or absent diesel particle filters by drive-through remote sensing measurement at the Czech University of Life Sciences main vehicular entrance gate. An exhaust sample was collected by a line attached to the road surface in the center of the travel lane. A non-volatile particle number (nvPN) counter and electric mobility particle size classifier were used to measure particle number concentrations, and an FTIR analyzer was used to measure CO, CO, and NO concentrations.

Components needed in Artificial Intelligence with a higher information capacity are critically needed and have garnered significant attention at the forefront of information technology. This study utilizes solution-processed zinc-tin oxide (ZTO) thin-film phototransistors and modulates the values of , which allows for the regulation of electron trapping/detrapping at the ZTO/SiO interface. By coupling the excited photonic carrier and electronic trapping, logic gates such as "AND," "OR," "NAND," and "NOR" can be achieved.

Despite recent advancements in machine learning algorithms, well-established models like the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) are still widely used for modeling tasks. This paper introduces an enhanced LSTM variant and explores its capabilities in multiple input single output chaotic system modeling, offering a large-scale analysis that focuses on LSTM gate-level architecture, the effects of noise, non-stationary and dynamic behavior modeling, system parameter drifts, and short- and long-term forecasting. The experimental evaluation is performed on datasets generated using MATLAB, where the Lorenz and Rössler system equations are implemented and simulated in various scenarios.
