Predicting the electricity demand is a key responsibility for the energy industry and governments in order to provide an effective and dependable energy supply. Traditional projection techniques frequently rely on mathematical models, which are limited in their ability to recognize complex patterns and correlations in data. Machine learning has emerged as a viable tool for estimating electricity in the last decade. In this study, the Modified War Strategy Optimization-Based Convolutional Neural Network (MWSO-CNN) has been provided for electricity demand prediction. To increase the precision of electricity demand prediction, the MWSO-CNN approach integrates the benefits of the modified war strategy optimization technique and the convolutional neural network. To improve efficiency, the modified war strategy optimization technique is employed to adjust the hyperparameters of the CNN algorithm. The suggested MWSO-CNN approach is tested on a real-world electricity demand dataset, and the findings show that it outperforms many state-of-the-art machine learning techniques for predicting electricity demand. In general, the suggested MWSO-CNN approach could offer a successful and cost-effective strategy for predicting energy consumption, which will benefit both the energy business and society as a whole.

The size of InGaN micro-LEDs is continuously decreasing to meet the demands of various emerging applications, especially in tiny micro-displays such as AR/VR. However, the conventional pixel definition based on plasma etching significantly damages the mesa sidewalls, leading to a severe reduction in efficiency as the micro-LED size decreases. This seriously impedes the development and application of micro-LEDs.

The increasing demand for autonomous mobile robots in complex environments calls for efficient path-planning algorithms. Bio-inspired algorithms effectively address intricate optimization challenges, but their computational cost increases with the number of particles, which is great when implementing algorithms of high accuracy. To address such topics, this paper explores the application of the leader-based bat algorithm (LBBA), an enhancement of the traditional bat algorithm (BA).

High-precision, low-power MEMS accelerometers are extensively utilized across civilian applications. Closed-loop accelerometers employing switched-capacitor (SC) circuit topologies offer notable advantages, including low power consumption, high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and excellent linearity. Addressing the critical demand for high-precision, low-power MEMS accelerometers in modern geophones, this work focuses on the design and implementation of closed-loop interface ASICs (Application-Specific Integrated Circuits).

The role of mitochondria as the electric engine of cells is well established. Over the past two decades, accumulating evidence has pointed out that, despite the presence of a highly active glycolytic pathway (Warburg effect), a functional and even upregulated mitochondrial respiration occurs in cancer cells to meet the need of high energy and the biosynthetic demand to sustain their anabolic growth. Mitochondria are also the primary source of intracellular ROS.
