We measured air broadening in the (30012) ← (00001) carbon dioxide () band up to using frequency-agile rapid scanning cavity ring-down spectroscopy. By using synthetic air samples with varying levels of nitrogen, oxygen, and argon, multi-spectrum fitting allowed for the collisional broadening terms of each major air component to be simultaneously determined in addition to advanced line shape parameters at atmospherically relevant mixing ratios. These values were compared to broadener-specific line shape parameters from the literature. Fits to measured spectra were also constrained with results from requantized classical molecular dynamic simulations. We show that this approach enables differentiation between narrowing mechanisms in advanced line shape parameters retrieved from experimental spectra of limited signal-to-noise ratio.

Objectives: To establish reference intervals (RIs) for work ability, at-work productivity loss and overall productivity loss in the general working population and to compare work ability and at-work productivity loss of patients with inflammatory rheumatic and musculoskeletal disease (iRMD) with this population.
Methods: Cross-sectional analysis among patients with iRMDs and population controls without iRMDs having paid work and participating in a Dutch cohort study. They reported on three work outcomes: work ability (0-10), at-work productivity loss and overall productivity loss (0%-100%).

Chloroethenes (CHCl with = 1, 2, 3, 4) are produced and consumed in various industrial processes. As the release of these compounds into air, water, and soils can pose significant risks to human health and the environment, different techniques have been exploited to prevent or remediate chloroethene pollution. Although several previous experimental and computational studies investigated the removal of chloroethenes using zeolite adsorbents, their structural diversity in terms of pore size and pore topology has hardly been explored so far.

Environmental factors play a fundamental role in shaping fish assemblage in aquatic ecosystems. The present study describes the fish assemblage structure on the spatial scale in Pong Reservoir, which lies in foothills of the Northwestern Himalaya within the river Beas basin. Through sophisticated enviro assessment techniques, using ArcGIS mapping, this study provides valuable insight into how physicochemical factors shape the fish assemblage in the reservoir.

Isonitrile-derivatized amino acids are emerging as highly effective infrared (IR) probes for investigating the structures and dynamics of hydrogen (H)-bonds. These probes enable the quantification of chemical exchange processes in solute-solvent complexes via two-dimensional IR spectroscopy and hold significant promise for site-specific dynamic studies within proteins. Despite their potential, theoretical models that elucidate the solvatochromism of isonitriles remain underdeveloped.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the characteristics of the ceramic bonding to cobalt-chromium (Co-Cr) alloys fabricated by casting, milling, and additive manufacturing, compared with zirconia and nickel-chromium. One hundred specimens (N = 100), prepared with the dimensions of 25 × 3 × 0.5 mm, were assigned to five groups (n = 20): presintered milled Co-Cr (Group M), additively manufactured Co-Cr (Group SLM), cast Co-Cr (Group C), presintered zirconia (Group Zi), and cast Ni-Cr (Group Ni).
