Here, we describe the skin mucosa microbiome of channel catfish () before and after exposure to chloramine-T trihydrate. We also describe the aquaria water microbiome after the post-treatment period. These data provide a unique baseline description of skin mucosa and aquaria water microbiome from catfish reared in research aquaria.

Background: Systemic lupus erythematosus is a multi-organ autoimmune disorder that is treated by immunosuppressive agents that weaken the immune defense against opportunistic pathogens and latent infections such as strongyloidiasis. Herein, we report the case of a 43-year-old woman known to have systemic lupus erythematosus who presented with gastrointestinal symptoms, edema, and bone pain 2 months after receiving immunosuppressive treatment.

Analyzing the distribution characteristics of allergen sIgE in the serum of patients with respiratory and skin mucosal diseases in Shanghai City, and to provide epidemiological characteristics and diagnostic basis for the prevention and treatment of allergic respiratory and dermo-mucous diseases in Shanghai City. Adopting cross-sectional research, a total of 3 822 patients who received treatment in Tongren Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from July 2022 to July 2023 due to respiratory diseases or skin and dermo-mucous symptoms were included. Among them, there were 1 456 males and 2 366 females, with an age range of 1-97 years old.

The aim of this study was to compare between the efficacies of serum anti-phenolic glycolipid 1 (APGL-I) level versus slit skin smear (SSS) in diagnosis of leprosy. This study involved 58 leprosy cases who were clinically examined, slit-skin smears were taken from all at diagnosis from four sites and APGL-I levels were seroassayed using ELISA.
