Published: April 2024

Thermotolerance is a required characteristic for biofuel production by yeast. Here, we report the draft genome sequence of thermotolerant AH465, which was originally isolated by the authors. A hybrid assembly approach using MinION Mk1b and MiSeq sequencers was conducted. The assembled sequence comprises 13.4 Mb in 26 contigs.

TFRC-KFRI-1, isolated from the gut of Manila Clam in the sediment of the West Sea of Korea, was investigated for its potential as a probiotic bacterium. This strain, belonging to the family , was previously classified as but later reclassified to the genus , known for species with bioremediation and probiotic properties. To evaluate its genomic features and potential applications, we performed draft-genome sequencing and analysis.

Veterinary AMR Center, National Veterinary Assay Laboratory, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Tokyo 185-8511, Japan.

To investigate fosfomycin resistance rates in cattle across Japan, we carried out susceptibility tests. To identify the genes contributing to fosfomycin resistance, we performed whole-genome sequencing on the fosfomycin-resistant strains. were sampled from healthy cattle ( = 292, combined total from 2017, 2020, 2021, and 2022) and diseased cattle ( = 73, from 2021 to 2022).

Background/objectives: Bloodstream infection by carbapenem-resistant (CRAB) is a serious clinical problem worldwide. To study its clonal relationship and genetic features, we report the draft genome sequence of CRAB strains isolated from human blood in South Korea.

Methods: Among strains isolated from patients at nine general hospitals in 2020, 12 CRAB strains of different genotypes were selected.
