Background: Multidrug-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (MDR-KP) infections pose a significant global healthcare challenge, particularly due to the high mortality risk associated with septic shock. This study aimed to develop and validate a machine learning-based model to predict the risk of MDR-KP-associated septic shock, enabling early risk stratification and targeted interventions.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 1,385 patients with MDR-KP infections admitted between January 2019 and June 2024.

Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the most common malignancy of the head and neck. A previously published T1D Genetic Risk Score 2 (GRS2) is widely adopted, but challenges in standardization and accessibility have hindered broader clinical and research utility. To address this, we introduce GRS2x, a standardized and cross- compatible method for accurate T1D PRS calculation, demonstrating genotyping and reference panel independent performance across diverse datasets.

Objective: To explore the application of short-peptide enteral nutrition formulation in mechanically ventilated pediatric patients with severe pneumonia and its impact on rehabilitation outcomes, providing practical clinical evidence for the nutritional support strategy in critically ill pneumonia children.
Methods: This study retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 90 neonatal pneumonia patients undergoing mechanical ventilation from May 2022 to December 2023. The patients were divided into an experimental group receiving short peptide enteral nutrition formulation via nasogastric tube and a control group receiving whole-protein enteral nutrition formulation via nasogastric tube.
