The aim of this study was to assess the effect of a chlorhexidine digluconate solution (CHX) applied as an antiproteolytic agent for controlling erosive tooth wear or as part of the adhesive treatment on long-term bond strength to eroded dentin. Background: Postsurgical atrophic scars tend to respond poorly to treatments, especially non-energy-based ones. Hydrophilic PN HPT (Polynucleotides High Purification Technology) injected intradermally is a non-energy-based option with an immediate volume-enhancing effect that indirectly improves the fibroblast synthesis of collagen and extracellular matrix. The PN HPT ingredient has the further benefit of a dermal "priming" effect that enhances the efficacy of other scar treatments.

Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of home-use desensitizing agents over an 8-week period by comparing them using different measurement methods.
Methods: A randomized, controlled clinical trial was conducted with 180 individuals aged between 18 and 70 who clinically diagnosed dentin hypersensitivity (DH) in two or more non-adjacent teeth. Subjects who met the inclusion criteria (n = 164) were randomly allocated into five test groups-using Casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP), Arginine, Novamin, Propolis, and Potassium nitrate-and a control group using standard fluoride toothpaste.

Lymphedema is a chronic condition caused by the accumulation of protein-rich fluid in the interstitial tissue, resulting in edema and a diminished quality of life. When first-line treatments like complete decongestive therapy (CDT) fail, surgical options are considered. These include physiological procedures like lymphaticovenous anastomosis (LVA) and vascularized lymph node transfer (VLNT), which aim to restore lymphatic function, as well as reductive procedures such as liposuction and excisional techniques, which reduce limb volume.
