Managing the patient's pain symptoms associated with endometriosis appears to be the cornerstone in endometriosis disease management. The ideal medical treatment in endometriosis would be suppressing estradiol enough to alleviate symptoms of endometriosis but maintain sufficient levels to mitigate hypoestrogenic side effects.
