Objectives: This work aimed to evaluate the effect of speed sintering and low-temperature degradation on the translucency of high-translucent zirconia.
Methods: The ST and TT specimens were randomly divided into two groups depending on the sintering process: conventional sintering and speed sintering. The sintered specimens were divided into three subgroups according to the aging time: aged for 0, 5, and 20 h. Chromatic parameters (L*, a*, and b* values) were measured by Shade Eye NCC computer colorimeter in a dark environment under black and white background, and the translucency parameter (TP) was used to evaluate the translucency of zirconia.
Results: Speed sintering may decrease the TP of ST and increase the TP of TT. As for the effect of low-temperature degradation on the translucency of zirconia, the TP of ST decreased with the extension of aging time, and no significant difference was found in rapid sintering ST. Although the TP of TT decreased, no statistical difference was observed.
Conclusions: Speed sintering may decrease the translucency of high-strength zirconia and increase the translucency of high-translucent zirconia. Low-temperature degradation had no effect on the translucency of high-translucent zirconia. Speed sintering can be recommended for high-translucent zirconia in terms of translucency.

Purpose: This in-vitro study aimed to compare the shear bond strength (SBS) of cobalt-chromium (Co-Cr) crowns on Corticobasal® implant abutments, evaluating the effects of two surface treatments and two luting agents.
Materials And Methods: Thirty Co-Cr crowns were fabricated using CAD-CAM technology with a direct metal laser sintering process and divided into three groups based on surface treatment: Group I (untreated), Group II (sandblasted with 50 μm Al₂O₃), and Group III (Er: YAG laser etching). Each group was further subdivided based on luting cement: Sub group A (GC Fuji Plus) and Sub group B (Rely X U200).

The preparation of sintered NdFeB magnets is complex, time-consuming, and costly. Data-driven machine learning methods can enhance the efficiency of material synthesis and performance optimization. Traditional machine learning models based on mathematical and statistical principles are effective for structured data and offer high interpretability.

One of the key factors in manufacturing products by fused deposition molding (FDM) or layer-by-layer printing technology is the material intensity of the product. The task of reducing the amount of material required to manufacture a product without significant loss of mechanical properties is one of the most practically important technological tasks. Material saving in FDM printing of products allows to reduce financial costs and increase the speed of manufacturing of the final product without reducing (or not significantly reducing) the quality properties of the product.

The high-energy ball milling process was applied to fabricate a composite material from 7075 aluminium alloy milling chips, silicon carbide, and titanium dioxide powders. Raw materials were ground, and the obtained powders were cold pressed and sintered. It was demonstrated that this method can be used in the recycling of aluminium alloy scrap characterised by a high surface-to-volume ratio, and also that chemical removal of the oxide layer from chips is not necessary.
