Hemorrhoids, anal fissure, anal fistula and perianal abscess are the most common benign diseases around the anus, which obviously affect people's life and work, and need to be well diagnosed and treated. Based on damage control, the treatment principle is to eliminate relevant disease symptoms and protect the anal function at the same time. Perianal benign diseases are common and frequently occurring, which can be diagnosed and treated in many non-specialist hospitals.

Phlegmonous gastritis is a rare, suppurative bacterial infection of the gastric wall and one of the rarest complications after upper gastrointestinal endoscopy. The pathogenesis is not fully clear, but multiple risk factors have been described in literature as mucosal injury and achlorhydria. We report a case of a 76-year-old male with vomiting and epigastric pain, two days after an upper endoscopy, who presented in septic shock.

Background And Aims: Acute obstructive suppurative pancreatic ductitis (AOSPD) is a rare condition with limited diagnostic and treatment information. This study aims to expand understanding by analyzing the clinical characteristics and management of AOSPD.
Methods: We analyzed 81 AOSPD cases (1993-2024) from the literature and 1 case from the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University.

Rationale: Low-grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasm (LAMN) is a clinically rare tumor that predominantly occurs in females and presents with nonspecific symptoms, often resulting in misdiagnosis. While postoperative pathology remains the gold standard for diagnosis, accurate preoperative identification through various diagnostic methods is essential for effective treatment planning. To raise awareness of this condition, we present a case of a middle-aged male diagnosed with LAMN.

Superior ophthalmic vein thrombosis (SOVT) is a rare phenomenon caused by both septic and aseptic etiologies. Individuals suffering from SOVT commonly present with ophthalmoplegia, proptosis, chemosis, and impaired vision. The superior ophthalmic vein is a valveless vein that drains into the cavernous sinus; for this reason, SOVT can present with dire complications such as cavernous sinus thrombosis in addition to debilitating permanent ophthalmoplegia and permanent vision loss if left untreated.
