Tissue necrosis and ischemia are hallmarks of acute necrotizing pancreatitis, which frequently results in fatal infections. In this case, we describe a man in his 40s who had diffuse pain in the abdomen, intractable vomiting, diarrhoea, and intermittent fever. His abdominal computed tomography revealed acute pancreatitis with peripancreatic fluid collection, gastric perforation, and fistula formation between the greater curvature of the stomach and transverse colon. His upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy confirmed a gastrocolic fistula.

Adalimumab is a recombinant human monoclonal antibody that inhibits tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha). It has become an important drug in the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), which do not respond to initial medical treatment. The case of a patient with ulcerative proctitis is presented, who developed acute pleuropericarditis, after starting treatment with Adalimumab.

Material And Methods: The study included 64 patients with type 1 AMI with and without ST segment elevation who underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention upon admission. The following information on cardiovascular events was collected for 36 months after admission: death from cardiovascular pathology, recurrent AMI, stroke, repeat myocardial revascularization and/or endarterectomy.
Aim: To identify predictors and construct a model for predicting left ventricular (LV) ejection fraction (EF) in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).
Material And Methods: This was a prospective registry study of patients with STEMI admitted within the first 24 hours of the disease onset. Patients were evaluated and treated according to the current clinical guidelines.

Background: Traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) is an incurable condition that is the largest cause of disability. In previous studies, Isosteviol sodium (STVNa) has been shown to protect rats against acute focal cerebral ischemia; however, the effects of STVNa on SCI recovery in rats remain unknown.
Methods: STVNa was given intraperitoneally after SCI to see if it had any neuroprotective benefits.
