This study presents a rare case of pneumonia caused by a co-infection of and , confirmed by metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS). The patient, who had underlying chronic hepatitis B, had adopted a stray pigeon before the onset of the disease. The primary symptoms were fever, and a productive cough.
