The World Health Organisation (WHO) has set goals to eliminate hepatitis C (HCV) as a global health threat by 2030. To meet this goal, Australia must increase testing and diagnosis, including expanding access to care through community pharmacists. This study aims to explore community pharmacists' preparedness to discuss and offer HCV testing and treatment.

An 8-week regimen of glecaprevir/pibrentasvir is recommended for treatment-naïve patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC). In alignment with the Taiwanese government's objective to eliminate hepatitis C by 2025, this study aimed to provide real-world evidence on the use of this regimen in treatment-naïve patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) by using data from the Taiwan Association for the Study of the Liver HCV Registry (TACR). CKD was defined by an estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) of <60 mL/min/1.

Objectives: There is limited information comparing the off-therapy relapse rates of patients discontinued tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) to those stopping entecavir or tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF).
Methods: A total of 805 HBeAg-negative patients without cirrhosis receiving entecavir (n=406), TDF (n=260) or TAF (n=139) were enrolled. Propensity-score (PS) matching method was applied to eliminate the significant differences in clinical characteristics.

Objective: We aimed to identify preferences for PrEP care among diverse gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (BLGBM) in the US with discrete choice experiment (DCE).
Design: We conducted two DCEs to elicit care delivery preferences for Starting and Continuing PrEP among 16-49 year-old HIV negative GBM not using PrEP from across the United States. DCEs assessed preferences for care options including location, formulation (pills, injectable), lab testing, and costs.

While Hepatitis A Virus (HAV) vaccination in global immunization programs has shown a virtual elimination of the disease within few years of the vaccination program, changing epidemiological landscape in India underscores the need for evidence-based, updated guidance on immunization practices. In May 2024, a panel of 15 distinguished opinion leaders and an organizing committee convened for an intensive, face-to-face advisory board meeting on high burden of HAV infection among adults, increased mortality rate in adolescents, symptomatic presentation in children, and evolving landscape globally and within India. Extensive comparable deliberations on long-term follow-up data from India and data from country of origin advocated immunogenicity, tolerability, and long-term protective effects of single-dose live attenuated HAV vaccine in children.
