Synthesis of strongly quantum confined and emissive CsPbBr perovskite nanocrystals with sizes <4 nm has proven challenging owing to fast nucleation and rapid growth. In this work, ultra-small blue-emitting (∼461 nm) CsPbBr nanocrystals with an average particle size of 3.2 nm are synthesized a high-temperature (170 °C) colloidal approach by controlling the supersaturation reaction conditions. Our approach yielded stable nanocrystals with uniform size, shape, and excellent color purity, making them promising for blue light emitting diode (LED) applications.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) and tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI) have gained therapeutical significance in cancer therapy over the last years. Due to the high efficacy of each substance group, additive or complementary effects are considered, and combinations are the subject of multiple prospective trials in different tumor entities. The majority of available data results from clinical phase I and II trials.

Introduction: Several universities modified interprofessional education (IPE) to a virtual format, showing similar outcomes as IPE delivered through an in-person format. This study aimed to describe perceptions of 106 students from programs in occupational therapy, dietetics, nursing, athletic training, and speech-language pathology (SLP) following an established IPE activity in a virtual format. This information will add to previous literature through inclusion of 5 healthcare programs as well as identifying attitudes from each discipline.

Antipsychotic polypharmacy/drug combination treatment (APP) is a remarkably common practice in the schizophrenia context, given the lack of general support in treatment Guidelines. There is also a vast literature on APP outcomes, but a paucity of high-quality evidence-based data to guide and optimize adequate use of APP. This seems particularly true regarding many pharmacology-based considerations involved in APP treatment strategies.

Background: With antimicrobial resistance a global threat, optimizing antibiotic usage across the surgical continuum is vital. The American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Foundation recently published the first guidelines addressing management in rhinoplasty. The authors reviewed pertinent literature on the role of systemic antibiotics in rhinoplasty and septorhinoplasty.
