Engaging in research during medical training is crucial for fostering critical thinking, enhancing clinical skills, and deepening understanding of medical science. Despite its importance, the shortage of physician-scientists lingers with many trainees and junior doctors encountering challenges navigating the research process. Drawing on current literature, this article provides a comprehensive roadmap, categorising 12 actionable strategies into five themes, to help medical trainees overcome common obstacles and optimise their research experience.

Background: Global progress toward malaria elimination and eradication goals has stagnated in recent years, with many African countries reporting increases in malaria morbidity and mortality. In order to promote the digital dissemination and preservation of Chinese intangible cultural heritage, this work constructs a digital platform for its transmission. The platform integrates a range of advanced technologies, including the Densely Connected Convolutional Networks - Bottleneck and Compression model, a notable convolutional neural network, along with natural language processing algorithms, generative adversarial network algorithms, and neural collaborative filtering algorithms. The platform is validated with 224,055 publicly archived valid data records, ensuring its effectiveness and reliability.

Introduction: Modern surgery incorporates many aspects of care, including preoperative workup, surgical management and multidisciplinary collaboration to achieve favourable outcomes and high patient satisfaction. Current literature identifies variability in surgical practice and quality of care.
