Hemangiomas are rare small bowel tumors requiring a high index of suspicion for diagnosis. We present a case of ileal hemangioma in a 3-year-old male presenting with recurrent anemia. The patient was diagnosed with a contrast-enhanced computed tomography abdomen and managed surgically by resection and anastomosis. Histopathologically, it was a solitary ileal cavernous hemangioma with a submucosal infiltrative pattern with serosa involvement and a normal mucosa.

We report a case of small bowel perforation from ileo-ileal intussusception with necrotising enterocolitis (NEC) after indomethacin exposure mimicking spontaneous intestinal perforation in an extremely preterm neonate. Indomethacin exposure can cause mesenteric hypoperfusion, resulting in an ischaemic lead point for intussusception and NEC. We advocate that intussusception should be considered as one of the differentials for neonates with recurrent feeding intolerance postindomethacin exposure.

A 49-year-old male with no comorbidities presented with acute colicky lower abdominal pain for one day, alongside three months of intermittent abdominal pain, loose stools, and melena. A contrast-enhanced computed tomography scan revealed an intussusception. During exploratory laparotomy, an ileo-ileal intussusception with a 3 cm polypoid lesion 10 cm from the ileo-caecal junction was found.

Background: Sodium butyrate is a potential antibiotic growth promoter and has had advantageous effects on the poultry industry.
Methods: Evaluating the effect of sodium butyrate on the intestinal villi and the humoral part of innate immunity of the male Cobb 500 broiler using scanning electron microscopy and quantitative real-time PCR analysis, the control group and treated group of Cobb 500 with SB supplemented received water containing 0.98 mg sodium butyrate.
The orthotopic ileal neobladder is becoming a popular technique of urinary diversion after radical cystectomy (RC) for localized muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC), allowing patient continence, with a more desirable body image and good quality of life. Minimally invasive robot-assisted RC and neobladder have the potential to minimize physical and psychological trauma and are increasingly being adopted for patients with MIBC worldwide. Unlabelled: Burkitt lymphoma is a non-Hodgkin B-cell lymphoma with a high prevalence in the pediatric population. Abdominal manifestations are well known in sporadic Burkitt lymphoma and vary from nonspecific symptoms to intestinal obstruction due to intussusception; however, mass-like splenic involvement has been scarcely described.
Objective: To present a case of a patient with a splenic mass whose histopathological analysis revealed Burkitt lymphoma.
