Background: microRNAs (miRNAs) could mediate the glucose and lipid metabolism progress in metabolic syndrome (MetS).
Objectives: To analyze the value of miRNA (miR)-21-5p for MetS diagnosis in children with obesity. Function of miR-21-5p has been explored by the prediction of target genes and functional and pathway enrichment analysis.

Introduction: Hyperuricemia (HUA) is a metabolic syndrome caused by purine metabolism disorders. (ZP) is a medicinal and food homologous plant, and its ripe peel is used to treat diseases and as a spice for cooking. Some studies have shown that ZP can inhibit the formation of xanthine oxidase and reduce the production of uric acid.

Objective: Many review articles have explored data regarding the coexistence of specific types of pituitary adenomas (PAs) and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), particularly focusing on the potential pathogenesis of this intersection and overlapping features. However, a comprehensive evaluation encompassing the full spectrum of PAs and their association with PCOS remains lacking. This review aims to provide a broad assessment of the interactions between these entities, emphasizing pathophysiological mechanisms, clinical presentations, diagnostic challenges and therapeutic implications.

Astragali Radix (AR) is one of the monarch drugs of Fangji Huangqi decoction and has the effects of inducing diuresis to alleviate edema, tonifying and strengthening the body. However, there is a paucity of research regarding the effective fraction and the underlying metabolic mechanism of AR on nephrotic syndrome (NS). This work aims to elucidate the potential mechanisms of AR treating NS, as well as to identify effective part and components.

Background: Numerous studies have demonstrated a correlation between asthma and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The Chinese herbal compound Shaoyao Gancao Tang (SYGCT) has been found to have therapeutic effects on both asthma and IBS, but the underlying mechanisms are not yet fully understood. This study aims to explore the key components, key targets, and potential mechanisms of SYGCT in treating asthma with IBS by using network pharmacology, molecular docking techniques and molecular dynamics simulation.
