Objective: To assess whether the retention rate of certolizumab pegol (CZP) was longer than that of other tumour necrosis factor inhibitors (TNFi) based on baseline rheumatoid factor (RF) levels.
Methods: Longitudinal, retrospective and multicentre study including patients with RA who were treated with any TNFi (monoclonal antibodies (mAB), etanercept (ETA) or CZP). Log-rank test and Cox regressions were conducted to evaluate the retention rate in the three groups according to the level of RF, with the third quartile of the baseline levels used as cut-off: <200 (
Results: A total of 638 individuals and 752 treatments (132 CZP, 439 mAB and 181 ETA) were included. In non-naïve patients with ≥200 IU/mL of RF, those treated with CZP showed a significantly longer retention rate in comparison with mAB and ETA. After matching using the propensity score, patients with ≥200 IU/mL RF levels exhibited longer retention rates with CZP than with mAB (HR 2.3 (95% CI 1.2 to 4.3), or ETA (HR 2.8 (95% CI 1.5 to 5.2). No differences were found between groups in patients with <200 UI/mL.
Conclusions: CZP showed a longer retention rate than mAB and ETA in patients with very high RF levels (≥200 IU/mL), while these differences were absent in patients with <200 IU/mL levels. The results suggest the potential effect of RF on binding the fragment crystallisable portion of certain TNFi.

Objective: To evaluate the 36-month clinical performance of Single Bond Universal Adhesive (SBU; 3M ESPE, Germany) in non-carious cervical lesions (NCCLs) using different modes of adhesion according to the FDI criteria. The primary outcome was the retention loss of the restorations, while the secondary outcomes included marginal staining, marginal adaptation, post-operative sensitivity and tooth vitality, recurrence of caries erosion and abfraction, and tooth integrity, all evaluated according to the FDI criteria.
Materials And Methods: In this study, the SBU Adhesive was applied to 246 NCCLs of 25 patients using different modes of adhesion: Self-etch (SE), selective-enamel-etching (SLE), and etch-and-rinse (ER).

Sugarcane is a major industrial crop highly susceptible to parasitic weed (Striga spp.), causing a 38% reduction in cane yield due to a longer lag phase of 20-40 days, and wider spacing. Herbicides with a longer retention and slow-release nature could allow Striga seeds to germinate and be killed before attaching to the host.

Luliconazole (LCZ) is a topical imidazole antifungal agent with broad-spectrum activity. However, LCZ encounters challenges such as low aqueous solubility, skin retention, and penetration, which reduce its dermal bioavailability and hinder its efficacy in drug delivery. The aim of the present study was to formulate, characterize, and evaluate the in vitro antifungal efficacy of luliconazole-loaded nanostructured lipid carriers (LCZ-NLCs) against a panel of resistant fungal strains.

In order to broaden the working voltage (1.23 V) of aqueous supercapacitors, a high-performance asymmetric supercapacitor with a working voltage window reaching up to 2.1 V is assembled using a nanorod-shaped molybdenum trioxide (MoO) negative electrode and an activated carbon (AC) positive electrode, as well as a sodium sulfate-ethylene glycol ((NaSO-EG) electrolyte.

The P2-NaMnO cathode material has long been constrained by phase transitions induced by the Jahn-Teller (J-T) effect during charge-discharge cycles, leading to suboptimal electrochemical performance. In this study, we employed a liquid phase co-precipitation method to incorporate Ti during the precursor MnO synthesis, followed by calcination to obtain NaTiMnO materials. We investigated the effects of Ti doping on the structure, morphology, Mn concentration, and Na diffusion coefficients of NaTiMnO.
