Two previously unreported lignans (1-2) and four undescribed [11]-chaetoglobosins (3-6) were obtained from the culture extract of an endophytic fungus P1-1-1. Their structures with absolute configurations were determined by spectroscopic data analysis, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculations, the modified Mosher's method, and Mo(OAc)-induced electronic circular dichroism (ICD) experiments. Compounds 5 and 6 showed moderate cytotoxic effects against seven human cancer cell lines. Compounds 2-4 exhibited immunosuppressive activities on concanavalin A-induced T cell proliferation with IC values of 3.7, 3.4, and 14.5 μM, and on lipopolysaccharide-induced B cell proliferation with IC values of 4.1, 3.9, and 14.2 μM, respectively. Further investigation revealed that 2 and 3 induced apoptosis in activated T cells in a dose-dependent manner.

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) play a crucial role in diagnosis and treatment, yet obtaining highly purified EVs from complex biological samples is often hindered by nanoscale contaminants. In this work, considering the charge-to-size characteristics of EVs, a circular multicavity electrophoresis (CME) with gradient pore size distribution was constructed in the gradient electric field to realize the isolation and preparation of EVs. By the gradient gel sieving effect, small cell debris, EVs, and proteins in biological samples were gradually separated.

Eighteen cyclopenta[]benzopyran derivatives (- and -) and 10 limonoids (- and -) were identified from , including 10 undescribed compounds (-), all of which were identified by analysis of spectroscopic data, electronic circular dichroism calculations, and X-ray crystallography studies. Nine compounds displayed significant cytotoxic activity against three cancer cells, with IC values of 3-900 nM. Sixteen compounds demonstrated potent antiviral activity on the dengue virus, with selectivity index values between 13.

Circular RNA (circRNA) was first discovered in viruses in 1974, they are primarily formed through back-splicing, where a downstream splice donor is joined to an upstream splice acceptor, resulting in a closed circRNA transcript. Under normal conditions, most circRNAs are stably expressed, however, in pathological conditions, circRNAs can play critical roles in the disease process of multiple myeloma (MM) through mechanisms such as competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNAs), regulation of transcription and splicing, affecting protein expression and localization, and even direct encoding of peptides. In recent years, there has been increasing interest in the role of circRNAs in MM and their regulatory functions during the disease process.
