Electromagnetic (EM) pollution can disrupt the functioning of advanced electronic devices, hence it's necessary to design EM wave absorbers with high-level absorption capabilities. The TiCT (MXene) is classified as a potential EM absorbing material; nevertheless, the lack of magnetic loss mechanism leads to its inadequate EM absorbing performance. On this basis, a novel composite design with promising EM absorption properties is hypothesized to be the integration of few-layer MXene and heterogeneous magnetic MOF derivatives (FeO/C) with complementary advantages. Herein, we synthesized two-dimensional (2D) interfacial-polarization-enhanced MXene hybrid (FeO/C/MXene) by electrostatic assembly. It is notable that the interfacial polarization is realized by adding a small amount of magnetic FeO/C. Furthermore, the FeO/C/ MXene demonstrates an astonishing effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) of 10.7 GHz and an excellent EM wave absorption performance (RL) of -66.9 dB. Moreover, the radar cross section (RCS) of FeO/C/MXene is lower than -15.1 dB m from -90° to 90° with a minimum RCS value of -52.6 dB m at 32°. In addition, the significant attenuation of the EM wave is due to the synergistic effect of improved impedance matching, dielectric loss, and magnetic loss. Thus, the magnetized FeO/C/MXene hybrid is expected to emerge as a strong contender for high-performance EM wave absorbers.

Metal single atoms (SA)-support interactions inherently exhibit significant electrochemical activity, demonstrating potential in energy catalysis. However, leveraging these interactions to modulate electronic properties and extend application fields is a formidable challenge, demanding in-depth understanding and quantitative control of atomic-scale interactions. Herein, in situ, off-axis electron holography technique is utilized to directly visualize the interactions between SAs and the graphene surface.

An important technical task is to develop methods for recording the phase transitions of water to ice. At present, many sensors based on various types of acoustic waves are suggested for solving this challenge. This paper focuses on the theoretical and experimental study of the effect of water-to-ice phase transition on the properties of Lamb and quasi shear horizontal (QSH) acoustic waves of a higher order propagating in different directions in piezoelectric plates with strong anisotropy.

In this study, CO reacted with a curing agent through nucleophilic addition to form ammonium salts, enabling the stable capture and internal release of CO, which achieved gas-phase nucleation and foaming. Additionally, the introduction of wave-absorbing agents improved the absorption mechanism and promoted uniform foaming. This nucleation-free foaming process relies on the induced growth of gas nuclei and the synergistic effect of the wave-absorbing agents, effectively preventing the uneven foaming issues caused by traditional nucleating agents.
