This work reports a strategy by enhancing conjugation effect and synthesizes a symmetrical and planar compound, 1,2-bis (4,5-di(1-tetrazol-5-yl)-2-1,2,3-triazol-2-yl)diazene (). The incorporation of azo and 1,2,3-triazole moieties manifests a synergistic effect, amplifying the conjugation effect of the azo bridge and thereby elevating the stability of (: 263 °C, IS: 7 J). Notably, , possessing a structural configuration comprising four tetrazoles harboring a total of 24 nitrogen atoms, exhibits excellent detonation performances (Δ: 6.06 kJ g, : 9002 m s). This strategy achieves the balance of energy and stability of polycyclic tetrazoles and provides a direction for high-performance energetic materials.

The limited solubility, rapid metabolism, and poor bioavailability of curcumin restrict its application. In this study, we synthesized chickpea protein isolate (CPI)-citrus pectin (CP) conjugates to prepare an emulsion delivery system that enhances the stability and bioavailability of curcumin. The CPI-CP emulsion achieved a curcumin encapsulation efficiency of 86.

Electronic address:

Aptamers and aptamer-drug conjugates (ApDCs) have shown some success as targeted therapies in cancer theranostics. However, their stability in complex media and their capacity to evade lysosomal breakdown still need improvement. To address these challenges, we herein developed a one-step self-assembly strategy to improve the stability of aptamers or ApDCs, while simultaneously enhancing their delivery performance and therapeutic efficiency through a lysosome-independent pathway.

Self-assembling ferritin nanoparticle technology is a widely used vaccine development platform for enhancing the efficacy of subunit vaccines by displaying multiple antigens on nanocages. The dengue virus (DENV) envelope domain III (EDIII) protein, the most promising antigen for DENV, has been applied in vaccine development, and it is essential to evaluate the relative immunogenicity of the EDIII protein and EDIII-conjugated ferritin to show the efficiency of the ferritin delivery system compared with EDIII. In this study, we optimized the conditions for the expression of the EDIII protein in , protein purification, and refolding, and these optimization techniques were applied for the purification of EDIII ferritin nanoparticles.

Non-viral vectors have gained recognition for their ability to enhance the safety of gene delivery processes. Among these, polyethyleneimine (PEI) stands out as the most widely utilized cationic polymer due to its accessibility. Traditional methods of modifying PEI, such as ligand conjugation, chemical derivatization, and cross-linking, are associated with intricate preparation procedures, limited transfection efficiency, and suboptimal biocompatibility.
