One of the most frequent, although widely understandable, reactions of people diagnosed with an incurable tumor is represented by incredulity, anger, and the denial of the impossibility of a definitive cure. Often, a picture of intense anxiety quickly takes over, overlapping the ever-growing collective hysteria of modern society, the result of a complex cultural mechanism in which technocracy often prevails over thought, introspection, and, in a broader sense, humanism. In this health drama, all actors often complain of formal inaccuracies while paying little attention to substantive ones. We argue that a more human emphatic patient-family-doctor relationship training to consider the undeniable progress of medicine and the fragility of all of us.

Objectives: This study aimed to introduce a new arthroscopic method for reconstructing the popliteus tendon (PT). This minimally invasive technique is performed through the posterolateral corner (PLC) of the knee, which can reconstruct the posterolateral rotary instability (PLRI) of the knee.
Methods: Thirty-nine patients (8 females, 31 males) with PLC injury and normal knee alignment underwent arthroscopic PT reconstruction.

Background: Patients diagnosed with esophageal mucosal bridges often experience symptoms such as chest pain and dysphagia, which pose considerable challenges for endoscopic surgical interventions.
Case Summary: We present a case involving early-stage esophageal cancer discovered in a resting room, notable for the rare manifestation of esophageal mucosal bridging. Following a comprehensive multidisciplinary discussion and the development of a treatment strategy, we proceeded with endoscopic submucosal dissection for the patient.
