Background: Widespread adoption of secure messaging (SM) provides patients with cancer with unprecedented access to medical providers at the expense of increased workload for oncologists. Herein, we analyze oncology SM clinical content and acuity and translate these to estimated cost savings from reduced appointments.

Methods: This population-based retrospective cohort study examined the content of patient-initiated SM threads exchanged through the patient portal website or app over 1 year (June 1, 2021-May 31, 2022) at 21 Kaiser Permanente Northern California oncology practices, which typically do not have patient copayments associated with SM.

Objective: The surgical goal is the arthroscopically assisted, closed reduction, and suture osteosynthesis of fractures of the tibial eminence in children and adolescents.

Indications: Fractures of the tibial eminence type (II)-III according to Meyers & McKeever or type IV according to Zaricznyj.

Contraindications: Fracture of the tibial eminence type I, conservatively treatable fracture type II according to Meyers & McKeever and ligamentous rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament.

The importance of hardware security increases significantly to protect the vast amounts of private data stored on edge devices. Physical unclonable functions (PUFs) are gaining prominence as hardware security primitives due to their ability to generate true random digital keys by exploiting the inherent randomness of the physical devices. Traditional approaches, however, require significant data movement between memory units and PUF generation circuits to perform encryption, presenting considerable energy efficiency and security challenges.
