Background: Microsatellite instability-high (MSI-high) tumors comprise ~15% of sporadic colorectal cancers (CRC) and are associated with elevated T cell infiltration. However, the universality of this response across T cell subtypes with distinct functions is unknown.

Methods: Including 1,236 CRC tumors from three observational studies, we conducted T cell profiling using a customized 9-plex (CD3, CD4, CD8, CD45RA, CD45RO, FOXP3, KRT, MKI67, and DAPI) multispectral immunofluorescence assay.

Adenoid cystic carcinomas (AdCC) of salivary gland origin have long been categorized as fusion-defined carcinomas owing to the almost universal presence of the gene fusion MYB::NFIB, or less commonly MYBL1::NFIB. Sinonasal AdCC is an aggressive salivary gland malignancy with no effective systemic therapy. Therefore, it is urgent to search for potentially targetable genetic alterations associated with AdCC.

A 50-year-old man presented with a bulky mass in the left thigh and was referred to our department. He showed an impaired Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status of 3 due to swelling of the left thigh and pain. Imaging analysis revealed a large mass measuring 16 cm in the left thigh and right forearm, along with the bilateral adrenal gland, right lung, right axillary lymph nodes, liver, and left femur.

Background: In humans, the presence of an even distribution of melanocytes within the epidermal basal layer allows for uniform pigmentation in healthy and young individuals. Moreover, despite high variability in skin colours and tones, interindividual melanocyte density variability is low. However, dogs display a high intraindividual pigmentary variability in different anatomical areas.

Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Graduate School of Medicine, Nagoya University, 65, Tsurumai-Cho, Showa-Ku, Nagoya, Aichi, 466-8560, Japan.

Objectives: We focused on how the immunophenotypes based on the distribution of CD8-positive tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) relate to the endometrial cancer (EC) molecular subtypes and patients' prognosis.

Patients And Methods: Two cohorts of EC patients (total n = 145) were analyzed and categorized using the Molecular Risk Classifier for Endometrial cancer (ProMisE): POLEmut (POLE mutation), MMRd (mismatch repair deficiency), NSMP (no specific molecular profile), and p53abn (p53 abnormality). CD8-positive TILs, within the central tumor and the invasive margin, were examined by using immunohistochemical staining and advanced image-analysis software.
