Optic disc drusen (ODD) are abnormal collections of protein and calcium that accumulate within the optic nerve. We report a case of a 17-year-old girl who presented to the Department of Ophthalmology at the Cheikh Khalifa International University Hospital, Casablanca, Morocco, with a decline in visual acuity, visual field deficiency, and color vision abnormalities. The patient was misdiagnosed and mistreated for optic neuritis given the presence of bilateral Stage III papilledema solely.

Aim: To assess the association between buried optic disc drusen (BODD) location using spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) and the location of associated visual field defects (VFD) using the Garway-Heath mapping.
Methods: This monocentric retrospective cross-sectional study was led at the authors' institution. Adult patients diagnosed with BODD who had complete records with a reliable Humphrey 24-2 visual field, macular, and papillary OCT were enrolled.

Optic disc drusen (ODD) are calcified deposits at the anterior optic nerve that are often detectable by ophthalmic imaging, including optical coherence tomography and fundus autofluorescence imaging. Multicolor (MC) imaging is a novel modality that captures reflectance of blue, green, and near-infrared laser lights with confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscopy to rapidly acquire high-resolution reflectance images of the optic disc and retina. Here, we show an eye with 3 MC imaging features of ODD, including prominent green hyperreflectance of the optic disc, green sheathing of the papillary and peripapillary vasculature (arterioles > venules), and presence of orange superficial ODD.

Improper closure of the embryonic fissure results in ocular coloboma. Optic nerve head drusen are hyaline deposits located anterior to the lamina cribosa that grow and calcify over time. It is rarely associated with ocular coloboma, with only two cases reported.

Background: To analyse structural characteristics and perifoveal/peripapillary vasculature by OCT in children with peripapillary hyperreflective ovoid mass-like structures (PHOMS) and compare the results with those of normal subjects.
Methods: Forty-five patients (84 eyes) under 18 years old with blurry disc margin were evaluated with spectral domain-OCT and swept course-OCT. Patients were divided into four groups, according to presence of PHOMS and then the size of the existing PHOMS.
