Purpose: To study clinical features and outcomes of primary ocular Toxoplasmosis (OT) cases presenting as macular punctate lesions.
Methods: Retrospective review of three cases of OT with positive Toxoplasma serology.
Results: We describe three cases presenting as primary OT with no evidence of old retinochoroidal scar in either eye. All the cases had multiple foveal or extrafoveal, punctate, inner/outer, or combined lesions at macula with minimal vitreous reaction. During the first/primary episode, all the lesions resolved with 1. retinal atrophy, thinning ( = 1) or 2. Progressed to limited full-thickness retinitis lesions ( = 2). Recurrence as typical retinochoroiditis was seen in one eye. More than four-fold IgG positivity was seen in all cases while IgM positivity was seen in two cases.
Conclusions: Macular punctate lesions (inner/outer/combination) can be the primary manifestation of ocular toxoplasmosis in the absence of old retinochoroiditis scars in either eye.

Purpose: To describe the clinical, laboratory and multimodal imaging findings in paraneoplastic autoimmune retinopathy (p-AIR) associated with anti-pyruvate kinase M2 antibody (anti-PKM2) and occult pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
Observations: A 70 year old male with blurred vision, nyctalopia and concurrent difficulty with glucose control had retinal vascular attenuation and diffuse punctate pigment clumping in both eyes. Multimodal imaging demonstrated corresponding stippled hypofluorescence on fluorescein angiography, stippled hyperautofluorescence and a hyperautoflourescent macular ring with fundus autofluorescence, and focal hyperreflectivity at the level of the RPE-Bruch's membrane complex with diffuse loss of outer retinal layers on ocular coherence tomography.

: To assess the clinical characteristics of patients with macular neovascularization (MNV) with no drusen in the fellow eye, we investigated the incidence of MNV in fellow eyes and the outcomes of intravitreal aflibercept (IVA) monotherapy in MNV eyes of patients with unilateral MNV with a punctate hyperfluorescence spot (PHS) in the fellow eye. : We retrospectively studied 58 treatment-naïve patients with unilateral MNV with no drusen in the fellow eye. Patients were classified into a PHS group ( = 29) or no-PHS group ( = 29) based on the presence of PHS.

Purpose: To evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics, and exploratory efficacy of tivozanib eye drops in healthy volunteers and patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD).
Design: This multicenter group-sequential dose escalation phase I study consisted of a placebo-controlled double-masked study of healthy volunteers (cohorts 1 and 2) and an open-label study of patients with nAMD (cohort 3).
Participants: Healthy volunteers: Japanese or White men aged 20 to <50 years.
