Chronic diabetic wounds present significant treatment challenges due to their complex microenvironment, often leading to suboptimal healing outcomes. Hydrogen sulfide (HS), a crucial gaseous signaling molecule, has shown great potential in modulating inflammation, oxidative stress and extracellular matrix remodeling, which are essential for effective wound healing. However, conventional HS delivery systems lack the adaptability required to meet the dynamic demands of different healing stages, thereby limiting their therapeutic efficacy.

Coronary artery stenosis detection remains a challenging task due to the complex vascular structure, poor quality of imaging pictures, poor vessel contouring caused by breathing artifacts and stenotic lesions that often appear in a small region of the image. In order to improve the accuracy and efficiency of detection, a new deep-learning technique based on a coronary artery stenosis detection framework (DCA-YOLOv8) is proposed in this paper. The framework consists of a histogram equalization and canny edge detection preprocessing (HEC) enhancement module, a double coordinate attention (DCA) feature extraction module and an output module that combines a newly designed loss function, named adaptive inner-CIoU (AICI).

While there are a plethora of cosmeceutical peptides, few combine anti-aging and anti-inflammatory benefits with small size.
Methods: Preclinical and clinical studies evaluated the anti-inflammatory properties, anti-aging benefits, and tolerability of acetyl dipeptide-31 amide (AP31), a novel, small, anti-aging micropeptide, to understand its impact as a multifaceted, cosmetic, anti-aging, and anti-inflammaging ingredient.

Most of toolpaths for machining is composed of series of short linear segments (G01 command), which limits the feedrate and machining quality. To generate a smooth machining path, a new optimization strategy is proposed to optimize the toolpath at the curvature level. First, the three essential components of optimization are introduced, and the local corner smoothness is converted into an optimization problem.
