In a 2015 study of mutation carriers who had initial negative bone scintigraphy, we found that the rate of development of Paget's disease of bone (PDB) over 5 yr was low. We report here an additional 8-yr follow-up of this cohort, exploring the hypothesis that the rate of development of PDB would increase as the cohort aged. In the current study, 21 of 24 subjects from 2015 who had a negative bone scintiscan at baseline and at first follow-up, had a repeat scintiscan and measurement of total serum alkaline phosphatase activity.

Using micro-data on six surveys-the Gallup World Poll 2005-2023, the U.S. Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, 1993-2022, Eurobarometer 1991-2022, the UK Covid Social Survey Panel, 2020-2022, the European Social Survey 2002-2020 and the IPSOS Happiness Survey 2018-2023 -we show individuals' reports of subjective wellbeing in Europe declined in the Great Recession of 2008/9 and during the Covid pandemic of 2020-2021 on most measures.

We consider the -dimensional Einstein equations with negative cosmological constant coupled to a spherically symmetric, massless scalar field and study perturbations around the anti-de Sitter spacetime. We derive the resonant systems, pick out vanishing secular terms and discuss issues related to small divisors. Most importantly, we rigorously establish (sharp, in most of the cases) asymptotic behaviour for all the interaction coefficients.

Global warming affects atmospheric and oceanic energy budgets, modifying the Earth's water cycle. The Mediterranean region is a critical zone for climate change due to a decrease in recharge and an increase in the frequency and severity of droughts over recent decades. While the impacts of possible emissions scenarios on surface water have been extensively studied, the effects on groundwater discharge remain uncertain at both global and local scales.

The study uses different statistical techniques to understand the relationship between variables explaining the digital divide and classification based on The Inglehart-Welzel Cultural Map for 2023. To achieve this purpose variables focusing on Digital Penetration (the percentage of internet and social media users and mobile cellular connections), Operating Systems share (iOS and Android), Device Traffic (laptop/mobile phone-based web traffic) as well as Mobile Commerce variables (bills and payments using mobile internet) were included in the analysis. To minimize any effects arithmetic means of data was calculated.
