A simple, fast, and cost-effective colorimetric nitrite (NO) sensor based on ZIF-67-derived CoO nanocomposite (ZCo-2 NC) structure has been developed. The prepared colorimetric sensor (ZCo-2 NC) was employed to sensitively detect NO in drinking water system by the exhibition of promising peroxidase-mimicking nanozyme-like features. The sensor manifest well-determined sensing response with excellent linear and wide range of NO sensitivity (0.

Fluorescence fluctuation spectroscopy experiments were conducted to better understand the complex mass transport dynamics of organic molecules in liquid-filled nanoporous media. Anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membranes incorporating 10 and 20 nm diameter cylindrical pores were employed as model materials. Nile red (NR) dye was used as a fluorescent tracer.

In this study, three different materials were investigated for their ability to degrade benzene, toluene, and xylene (BTX) using light energy. The materials studied were activated charcoal (AC), zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF-8), and zirconium metal-organic framework (Zr-MOF). Initially, AC, ZIF-8, and Zr-MOF were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface area analysis, and spectroscopic analysis techniques.

Inorganic halide perovskite thin-film X-ray detectors have attracted great research interest in recent years due to their high sensitivity, low detection limit, and facile fabrication process. The poor crystal quality of the thin film with uncontrollable thickness and low background voltage during detection limits its practical application. Here, a high-quality CsPbBrI ( = 0, 1) columnar crystal film is prepared by an improved melt-confined method with a porous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) template, which stabilizes the disorder perovskite systems of CsPbBrI by stress.

Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) is a variety of the human gamma-herpesvirus that often leads to the occurrence of malignant tumors. In addition, the occurrence of Kaposi's sarcoma is a major cause of death among AIDS patients. Ganciclovir (GCV) is the most widely used drug against KSHV infection in the clinic.
