In accordance with the cognitive orientation contemplated in the resolution of complex problems posed in public decision-making using decision support systems and social networks, this work studies the possibility of identifying the state of mind of society through the state of mind of network leaders. Using sentiment and emotion analysis as research techniques and as a representative social network, the study corpus considers tweets and retweets in Spanish about COVID-19 in the period from February 27, 2020 to December 31, 2021. As cognitive orientation claims, the proposed techniques will allow us to extract the arguments that support the different positions and decisions from the analysis of the tweets issued exclusively by social leaders. In the case study considered, the COVID-19 vaccination process in Spain, the reduction in the number of tweets' authors (more than 8,000) to the network leaders (just 8) was greater than 99 %; and the subsequent reduction in the number of associated tweets was greater than 88 % from the 18,193 tweets in society to the 2,145 tweets of the eight social leaders. The impressive degree of information compression achieved may be useful to establish new directions of social mood analysis applied to healthcare and business management.

USU results in substantial morbidity and mortality yet primary care practices rarely systematically screen, diagnose, and treat USU. Supporting Unhealthy Substance use care Through a whole person Approach and user centered INtegration into primary care (SUSTAIN) tests whether the implementation of a co-designed change package for USU improves patient function.

CSPNs are interorganizational networks that include various providers, such as nonprofits and government agencies, that collaborate to provide substance prevention services and are embedded in local communities. This study analyzes the post-pandemic adaptation of a CSPN in the United States.

High degree of variability in human leukocyte antigens (HLAs) system restricts availability of histocompatible HLA-matched-related donors, thus increasing reliance on worldwide bone marrow registries network. Nevertheless, due to limited coverage/accessibility/affordability of some ethnicities in these registries, haploidentical haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) emerged as an alternative option, though with allorecognition-mediated graft versus host disease (GvHD) (>40% cases). A dimorphism [-21 methionine (M) or threonine (T)] in HLA-B leader peptide (exon 1) which differentially influences its HLA-E binding, plausibly regulates natural killer cell functionality, affecting GvHD vulnerability and clinically in practice for donor selection.

Immigrants and refugees in the United States often face significant barriers in accessing social services, including mental health support, legal assistance, ESL or related education, housing, vocational training, workforce resources, transportation, and citizenship support. This article explores the strengths and challenges of community-based organizations welcoming centers (CBO WC) in Illinois that serve these populations, including people with disabilities, in culturally appropriate and inclusive ways. The Immigrant and Refugee-Led Capacity Development Network of Illinois, based at the University of Illinois Chicago, collaborated with the state's Office of Welcoming Centers to explore the service capacities of 17 CBO grantees.
