Single-bundle (SB) and double-bundle (DB) anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) have been compared for years, and long-term outcomes of the two techniques remain inconclusive. We compared the 10-year outcomes of SB and DB reconstruction, in terms of subjective scores, knee stability, graft failure, and osteoarthritis (OA). We searched MEDLINE, Embase, and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials for relevant studies, without restrictions on study design, language, or publication date.

Objective: To explain design features of scissors and surgical instruments that work against left-handed users and demonstrate how the user can adapt their technique for ambidextrous use of standard instruments.

Methods: Standard instruments are designed for maximal efficiency with the use of a right-handed grip.

Background: Although leisure time physical activity (LTPA) is a beneficial factor for cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality, relationships between occupational physical activity (OPA) and CVD mortality are inconclusive. We aimed to examine prospective associations of OPA with CVD mortality using a large representative sample of adult workers in the United States (US), and explore how socioeconomic status (SES) may influence these associations.
Methods: This cohort study included US workers (≥ 18 years) participating in the 1988 National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) and passively followed until December 31, 2019.

Background: Cranial Rhythmic Impulse (CRI) or Primary Respiratory Mechanism (PRM), movement felt on the scalp or the rest of the body, respectively, is a fundamental concept used by osteopaths in their practice for their diagnosis and treatment. However, the physiological basis of this phenomenon remains unclear. Sutherland, the founder of cranial osteopathy, proposed in 1939 that PRM was due to the movement of the cranial bones pulled by the meninges, themselves pushed by the fluctuation of cerebrospinal fluid and the motility of the central nervous system.
