Background: Microfracture drilling is a surgical technique that involves creating multiple perforations in areas of cartilage defects to recruit stem cells from the bone marrow, thereby promoting cartilage regeneration in the knee joint. Increasing the exposed bone marrow surface area (more holes in the same area) can enhance stem cell outflow. However, when the exposed area is large, it may affect the mechanical strength of the bone at the site of the cartilage defect.

Given the integration of color emotion space information from multiple feature sources in multimodal recognition systems, effectively fusing this information presents a significant challenge. This article proposes a three-dimensional (3D) color-emotion space visual feature extraction model for multimodal data integration based on an improved Gaussian mixture model to address these issues. Unlike traditional methods, which often struggle with redundant information and high model complexity, our approach optimizes feature fusion by employing entropy and visual feature sequences.

The controllable design and precise modulation of the functional properties of materials based on theoretical calculations has always been the goal of materials researchers. Through the comparative analysis of theoretical calculations and experimental phenomena, physical properties, including optical properties, electrical conductivity, and dielectric properties, can be further comprehended. In this work, on the basis of the first-principles calculations of many inorganic compounds, we selected BaSnSiO (BSSO) as the research focus and found that it contained two cationic sites with completely different electronic characteristics.
