The solid-state structure and morphology of organic semiconductors are critical in determining the performance of organic electronic devices, as they directly influence charge carrier mobility. Improved molecular packing and ordering are key to achieving better device performance. While halogen bonding (XB) has been extensively used in supramolecular crystal engineering, its potential for organic electronics remains largely untapped.

In this study, the impact of lentil hull soluble dietary fibers (SDFs) on colitis and behavioral deficits in mice was assessed. Structural characterizations of SDFs confirmed that cellulase-modified soluble dietary fiber exhibited better physicochemical properties: more porous microstructure; similar polysaccharide structure; more stable particle size distribution; higher crystallinity; better adsorption capacity; and lower viscosity. Additionally, we explored its potential cognitive benefits via the gut-brain axis by behavioral tests, histopathology, 16S rRNA sequencing, gas chromatography and metabolomics analysis.

In the undertaken research, we investigated the preparation route's influence mainly on the surface properties of the final form of Mg-containing zeolite Y. The parent zeolite was subjected to modification with aqueous solutions of magnesium nitrate via impregnation, ion-exchange, and ultrasonic techniques, respectively. The results obtained from the Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Computer Tomography (CT), and crystallinity evaluations indicated that the method of zeolite modification influenced the physicochemical properties of the studied samples.

In this research, Hall effect experiments and optical fittings were mainly conducted to elucidate the effect of hydrogen annealing on the electronic properties of polycrystalline Al-doped Zinc Oxide thin films by distinguishing the scattering by ion impurities and the scattering by grain boundaries. By comparing the carrier density and those mobilities of H-annealed samples with Ar-annealed samples, the effect of H annealing was highlighted. AZO thin films were prepared on the quartz glass substrate at R.

Herein, we report a comprehensive investigation on the thermal transitions of thin films of poly [2,5-bis(2-octyldodecyl)pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole-1,4(2H,5H)-dione -3,6-diyl)-alt-(2,2';5',2″;5″,2'″-quaterthiophen-5,5'″-diyl)]PDPP4T, poly[2,6-(4,4-bis-(2-ethy-lhexyl)-4H-cyclopenta [2,1-b;3,4-b']dithiophene)-alt-4,7(2,1,3-benzothiadiazole)] PCPDTBT, 1:1 blend of PDPP4T and PCPDTBT, and their composites with gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). The thermal transitions of these materials were studied using variable temperature spectroscopic ellipsometry (VTSE), with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) serving as the reference method. Based on obtained VTSE results, for the first time, we have determined the phase diagrams of PDPP4T/PCPDTBT and their AuNPs composites.
